Details about the role
In this role you’ll conduct fundamental research which develops novel AI methods, that can be translated to enhance our generative AI platform. We are looking for creative thinkers with strong algorithm-design and programming skills. Previous technical experience with machine learning architectures, complex systems, combinatorial optimization, probabilistic modeling, and domain expertise in NLP are valued. We’re moving quickly and need more than just team members—we need people to pave the path.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Research Efforts on development of transformer models and other architectures
- Design, implement and evaluate models and software prototypes
- Create latest advancements in Large Language Models
- Contribute to team collaborations to meet ambitious research goals
- Engage with application and product needs, to inform research decisions
- Able to devise and execute independent research directions
Requirements:
- Have 3+ years of experience with Transformer based models for NLP
- PhD or equivalent experience in computer science, AI, machine learning, or a related field
- Be proficient in one of these programming languages: Python/C/C++/CUDA
- Familiarity with associated frameworks, such as Jax, PyTorch, or equivalent frameworks
- Strong background in machine learning foundations
- Publications at top AI venues such as ACL, EMNLP, ICLR, ICML, NAACL, NeurIPS, or similar
- Familiarity with distributed systems and training / inference infrastructures
